Girl Power and Other Trophy Art

The trophy creations began as a way to celebrate my best friend's birthday, back in the 1980s. She was having a Bowling Birthday Party, and Steven and I made a huge tower of combined trophies, for her as a gift. The same technique was used 20 years later, to make the first (ART) trophy tower, for an invitational show, in Las Vegas. The white tower of books with trophies and other odds and ends, (Reading is Righteous) was a big hit.  Since then,  I have made two towers to celebrate women, and they are wrapped in pink netting. Both are in private collections.  These are considered (by me) maquettes, for bronze monuments that could be several stories high. More are scheduled.
